[Recipe] Santa's Snowball Cookies

Learn R&B Singer, Kela Noré's Version on How to Make These Melt-In-Your-Mouth Holiday Snacks

By Bridney C.

As most of my readers may have tried a snowball cookie before, this recipe was submitted to me by Kela Noré just in time for the holiday season. These cookies will melt in anyone's mouth, and they are best enjoyed with a warm cup of hot chocolate.

No matter what you choose to enjoy with these cookies, everyone loves enjoying a holiday treat. Another positive note about this recipe, in particular, is that they are easy to make, using only six ingredients that most people already have in their kitchen.

How to Make Santa's Snowball Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened

  • 5 Tbsp granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

  • (OPTIONAL) 2 cups chopped walnuts, almonds, or pecans

First, mix the dough ingredients until combined. After, wrap the dough and place it in the oven for 45 minutes. Roll scoops of dough into small balls.

Bake for about 12 to 14 minutes until they are lightly golden browned. The cookies should not be under-baked or over-baked.

Once you take the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for 2 minutes on the baking rack. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the cookies.

Garnish with chopped walnuts, almonds, or pecans if you choose (this is optional). After letting the cookies cool after 10 minutes, sprinkle more powdered sugar on them.

Santa's Snowball Cookies make snacks to enjoy during all festivities with loved ones this holiday season. Happy Holidays!
