Today's Song Spotlight is shining down on Dey.Dios, a rapper from New London, Connecticut who released his single, "Ain't Worried" on all music streaming platforms on February 29th. We dug a little deeper to analyze and get the scoop on everything there is to know about his song, "Ain't Worried."

"The inspiration of the song came out nowhere to be honest. I woke up knowing I already had the studio booked so I let the pressure of that force me to make 'Ain’t Worried,'" says Dey.Dios.

He was also inspired by Lil' Wayne's song "No Worries" and French Montana's "Ain't Worried About Nothin." It took Dios five hours to compose the song and freestyle the chorus at the recording studio.

"I’m actually pretty proud of the final version [Ain't Worried]. I know there’s some room for improvement but I love how it came out especially since it was my first time using autotune," says Dios.

Not intending for the song to be catchy, he credits independent producer, Genie Beats for creating a beat that helped him arrange the chorus. "I’m not worried about sounding like everyone else. I’m not worried about allat [sic] extra shit. I’m worried 'bout music and money. Dassit baybeeee [sic]," says Dios.

The 21-year-old rapper has been freestyling and making songs since 2015, but he has decided to take music seriously this year after learning how to build his confidence and control his performance anxiety.

Dios plans to release music throughout 2020 all while hoping to grow his fan base and social media presence. He is a member of TheWhoreHouseEnt. (TWHE) along with fellow rappers S.A.G.E. and Young Thotty.

"We been working hard and we’re gonna be great," says Dios.
